For the amount of money youd spend on a MT conversion, just do some type of FI. Turbo, SC... anything.

With a turbo, the only lag youll have is 1st gear spool up. Other than that youll just smoothly fly down the road paddle shitting.

I beat a 2006 Civic EX 3 out of 4 times. (The one time I lost was due to a missed shift). The fastest I ran was a 17.3 (our elevation is quite high here, and adds about 1 sec to any 1/4 mile time, so if I was in California, the corrected 1/4 mile time would be about 16.3).

I had a T1R Intake, Greddy Ti-C Axle back, Megan Header, 15" Enkei RPF-1s, and decent summer tires.

RT's do nothing for your 1/4 times though. 60 foots are what count.
