Hey, thanks for the heads up on the tire pressure with the General's for the Dragon run. Last weekend I set them up at 40psi cold. Very noticeable difference in handling. I've been commuting with that setting this week to get used to it. The car even tracks a little better at that pressure on the interstate, and ends up being around 43psi when hot. I know I won't keep them that high for commuting. Once I get back from the Dragon weekend I'm going back down to the 35 range.

 

You'll be building more pressure in your tires at the Dragon meet than you do on your daily commute. So, after some of the "spirited' driving, while the tires are still hot, check the pressures and bleed them down to 42psi. When I had those Generals on my car, I found that they lost grip with the pressures above 42. Have fun!

 

I want/plan on going but need more info. i have a 2011 base fit 5 spd. someone let me know some info... i can make it out there saturday morning...

 

Ok, check out the first page for all the cabin info, there's still cabins available too. We'll be heading out around mid morning on Saturday if I had to guess, so the earlier you show up the better, get that cabin booked and join us for the fun . BTW you'll have company on the way home as a bunch of my buddies from the metro Detroit area are going and are heading home on Sunday, actually we're all going up 75 for quite a bit until we split off at I-64.
