I didn't have a reservation, but I was very eager to go. Work must take precedence over fun for now hahah. I'll get some photos and maybe a video when I drive through with my GoPro in the end of October.

I can't wait!! Leaving the husband's Fit at home this time. Might bring it next year. Mine's dropped and ready to go!

Just talked to Dixie at Caney Creek Village and she still has 3 cabins available! #7, #12 and #14. Not sure which ones are double and which aren't. Fill 'em up boys!

 

Still hoping to make it, I go this morning to the eye Dr to schedule my surgery though so we'll see. It'll most likely just be a day trip either way, don't have any extra $ to stay.

 

I am 100% going to be there with the wife, hope to meet some other members.
I'll arrive late on the 7th and will be there the whole weekend

 

Surg is Oct 11th so hopefully I can make it.

 

It looks like there's some cabins available, surprising, so get one asap and tell Dixie that "Roger from Deeetroit" sent you and your with that group, she knows me very well since 2003!

I should say right here and now that my Fit is gone and replaced with a 2011 Honda CR-Z EX, SSM w/6MT I loved my Fit and never had a single problem with it but once I drove the CR-Z and rowed through the gears, that was it! If they'd gotten me a 5MT Fit I would NEVER had gotten rid of the Fit. I even put brand new rims on it too only a couple monthes ago and even applied 2 coats of Zaino Z-5 pro to it days before it went away, knowing that it was going away too, wanted it to be protected sitting on the lot

The car was taken in at Honda of Lisle Illinois and get this, they had to drive 6 hours instate to get this car for me too, only one in the state the way I wanted it, talk about hard to find!

Remember, 23 more days to go and as of right now, there's 3 cabins left too!

 

Thanks and yeah I know. I asked off for the 7th, hopefully I'll find out tomorrow if I got it. As long as the $ situation is ok, I'll be there hopefully with another buddy who has a nice Fit.

 

Please, don't get in front of me on the Dragon run... My AT Fit doesn't like tailgating wussy Honda hybrids.

My dealer keeps hounding me to buy a CR-Z. I just laugh and remind them that I bought and traded in a Civic Hybrid from them within 2 years. I also ask them how I'm supposed to fit my two 75lb Black Labs, a 6 year-old kid and my wife in a CR-Z for a ride to the park. They just give me that dumb look and stare off into space...

can i sleep in my car somewhere?
i dont have money for a cabin...
how many people are we expecting?
and better yet... how many fits?

 

I'll be there on the 7th (Friday). I guess closer to time I'll need to get somebody's cell # so I'll know where to meet up at. No cell service in most of the area so that may be fun.

 

So does this mean I should bring my tools to see what fits off CR-Z on to our Fit??? if not I guess we can eyeball it. btw what color did you get?
