Easiest way to drain 2008 Sport gas tank

What's the easiest way to drain the tank? I had some lawnmower gas and poured it in the Fit. Apparently, I poured some water too. So, I need to get it all out. Tractor Supply siphon didn't work and I'm just looking for the easiest way to get all the water out.

Thanks
Charles

How much water would you guesstimate? An alcohol based additive like Heet will take care of some of some of it and far easier than trying to drain the tank.

Thats kinda the problem. Hard ro say. I had 3 5 gallon cans that I knew had water in them. Apparently it was more than I thought. It ran for a mile and stopped. Cranked up and ran another mile, stopped and wouldn’t crank.

That’s where I am. 3/4 tank. I’d feel better if I could drain a few gallons out.

For best results the gas pump must be removed
