I had a trim piece fly off the bottom right corner of the windshield on my 2011 Fit. Does anyone know what this piece is called and how I might find a replacement part?
That ought to be easy to find at your local Pic & Pull junkyard! You would have a number of cross-years to pick from. And you'd save a fortune over what the Honda dealer would charge you. Good luck.
The piece on the passenger side (in North America) is P/N 74222-TK6-A00 COVER, PASSENGER HOOD HINGE. Not sure what the driver's side P/N is, but now you know the nomenclature. It's a cheap part, $11 to $15 USD. This isn't one of Honda's best engineering efforts, unless their goal was to sell trim parts. By the way, the new part includes a replacement clip, so you don't need to buy a new clip too.
I lost two of these and finally used 3M tape to hold them in place.
