Auto Tranny performance with fluid level?
Auto Tranny performance with fluid level?
Hi all,
Don't know if it's my imagination or not but it "seems" like when my auto transmission fluid level in my 2010 Fit Sport is at the "lower level" on my dipstick, versus at the high line level or "full or max. mark on the dipstick, the transmission seems to shift faster or better. Is this just my imagination? (But still within the crosshatch area of the dipstick) Could there be more pressure on the tranny when the fluid is at the high level and is it actually better to have the fluid level near the lower level but still within the crosshatch area on the dipstick? Thanks for any insight.
