Check System Charge 2015 Honda Fit LX 6spd
Check System Charge 2015 Honda Fit LX 6spd
My 2015 Fit was having starting issues, clicking with no start, after trouble shooting I found it was the starter, no big deal right?
i bought a used starter off a 3rd generation Fit on eBay for $100, perfect fit, and the vehicle starts every turn now. Great, but now I’ve ran into a new issue after replacing the starter.
CHECK SYSTEM CHARGE is flashing, accompanied by a solid power steering light, traction control light, and tire pressure light(which flashes when the vehicle turns on)
I have power steering, and my tire pressure is good all around, traction control won’t turn on.
clearly and electrical issue, but after having my battery, alternator, and starter tested at Auto Zone, all three parts PASSED.
So no issues with the battery, starter or alternator. The car runs and starts beautifully, but these damn dash lights think otherwise.
is there anything I’m missing?
perhaps a battery sensor, fuse or relay? Anything I can troubleshoot to help diagnose why I’m getting this error.
winter is coming and I want to figure this out before snow falls.
Could it be the used starter I purchased? It was off the same generation of vehicle, with only 20k miles.
any help would be appreciated, thanks.
