2008 honda fit sport AC air hotter than outside
AC was having trouble second half of the day not cooling and when I left my car in for a bit and returned it was significantly hotter in the fit than outside at night. Not sure why the AC is not working it was working ok sometimes this morning. Also for AC is it better to use incoming air or recycle air in car.
It depends which is hotter.
If the car has been parked in the sun, the interior will be hotter than outside. Put the HVAC on fresh air to flush out the hot air. There are vents in the very back of the car that air exits through when the HVAC is set to fresh. When the interior air gets cooler than the air outside, you will get better cooling performance with the recirculate mode.
