vibration questions

hello all,

As of a little over a week or so I have began noticing my car to vibrate. I can feel it in my fingers as i sit idle and when i drive.

Rpm level sees normal during idle and i have been keeping my eye on my mpg and it has in fact been increasing, minimal but increasing.
(like typically at half tank i would be around 150 but as of the last week or so it has been floating over the 160 mark)

I just had an oil change around 1200 miles ago.

I would hate for something small to turn into a big ordeal, so if anyone has any suggestions so I may check them myself it would be appreciated.

Is it idling really low? That will cause the car to vibrate a lot.

I would take it into the dealer, though.

sounds like your car is new but I just did the 25k thing and the air filter was incredibly filthy so if you are subject to dusty places or areas with forest fire fallout it might be worth the check,a dirty air filter choking your air supply is no joke

ok, based on a new fit/jazz aussie spec, i found i had a rough idle when i came to the traffic lights, when the car had ~4000km. During this time i used normal 91RON unleaded fuel. Basically whenever i was at the traffic lights it would shake a bit when idle. like if i had a water bottle in the cup holders, i would rattle a bit.

then i switched to 98RON fuel for a thousand km and then i started to notice it idleing better and improving fuel economy. this was ~5000km mark.

now every now and then i give it 98RON fuel and most of the time i'm just using 91RON stuff. so try changing fuel around see what happens
