Changing Brake Fluid

Changing Brake Fluid
So I decided to flush my brake fluid today, adding Valvoline Synthetic brake fluid...
Here's my questions for those of you who have flushed their brake fluid already:
1. Did you have air bubbles in your brake lines?
2. Did your old brake fluid look green-ish?
============================
I did have LOTS of air in my rear brake lines... weird. Especially since I only have about 10,800 miles. The brake pedal definitely feels more firm with the new stuff. And my old brake fluid did look green-ish... like it was old. I don't know what that means.

correctio.... if it looks clean that means its a good sign. why would you change your brake fluid for???? your car is brand new right??? there is no need for that amd when the brake fluid is dirty it will have a light brown discoloration to it.

I was changing my wife's brake fluid (98 Civic), and thought I would do mine as well. Since the new stuff is synthetic (vice normal stuff) there are some added benefits. There is a thread on it here a fitfreaks.net. For most of the reasons described in that thread I decided to change the fluid... It only cost $8 for the fluid for BOTH of my cars!
