2008 Lug Nut Torque Specs

Hey, can some one refresh my memory of the torque specs for my wheel lug nuts? 2008 specs same as earlier years? Don't have the $$ to buy the 2008 tech manual? Thanks. FitinFlorida

It's in the owners manual. I don't remember which page, but its is under using the spare tire. I found it when I put on my snow tires. I think it is 80 ft-lbs.

Thanks. Just as you said, it's in the owner's manual. It's 80 ft-lbs for the lug nuts. Also, has torque specs for the oil drain plug.

make sure you guys retorque your lugs after driving your car for 5-10miles.
they tend to back out at only 80lbs/ft.

i use 90lbs on all my cars but still need to retorque usually...
unless i use those powder coated lug nuts. they tend to
lock into place real well.

That is always a good practice. I have had lug nuts loosen up on the wife's Accord before. Many times people forget to retorque them.

Thanks. I checked them and reset today to 85 ft-lbs. Didn't really seem like they turned at all, but I gotta trust the torque wrench. Good tip.
