Yes, another hid mishap
I tried to install my HID kit tonight and ran into a few snags. I have done them quite a few times in the past, and have never seen this before. please see the attached photos and let me know if you can tell me wth they are for. and no, i am the one who gets a kit with NO instructions
Help.....please? I would appreciate it. i have had this kit for a year now and am finally getting around to installing them........yes i am lazy
the kit is hi/lo...not with a moving ballast.

Wat you have is a direct connection to the stock connector and there no connection to the battery. So the plug w/ the three tabs connect to the stock oem plug, and in the second picture you are missing the top tabs which the a red wire and that also connect to the stock oem plug, and the orange connect to the relay/ fuse box, and for the black and blue wire. not totally sure about, is there any way you can take more picture of the kit and all the part and from there I better explain everything and help installed the kit...
also you have been pm...
does your kit come with a relay and connections to the battery? If so, this is my theory. One side of the headlights will be connected to the 3 prong plug. Then the plug will run to the relay. The relay will then have connections that lead to the battery and also 2 additional wires to each ballast, which ultimately go to the headlights.
THEN the 2 prong plugs are for the high beams. Then the ends of the 2 prong plug goes to the yellow wires sticking out of the bulb, AKA the connections to that little high beam bulb.
Im pretty good at figuring this out. My friend that owns an SI bought a used pair of QUAD projector headlamps WITH angel eyes. The kit had 4 ballasts and torn out wires due to the last owner having a friend take it out. I was the one to figure out where everything needed to go
If you can just take a pix of like, everything, possibly all spread out in 1 pic. I'll try my best to help u out

ok...i bought a hid kit, suppose is a plug and play kit, installing isnt a problem, da problem is when i turn on da headlight da hid bulb was on for abt 1-2 seconds then suddenly it switches to halogen bulb...need help...
the wires connection and it may need to be switch around.
i did switches da wire around but either on for 1-2 sec or not work at all..
do i need to cut one of da wire and connect to another wire? im totally an idiot when it comes to electrical parts.

there is no need to cut the wires at all........check the connection on the ballest and then make sure they are connected right b/c some time you may have the in backward...b/c another fitfreak member has the same problem......also check the wires that connect to the oem plug and be sure black are left and right and the white is on top.....hope this help out....
