Faulty A/C

Hey guys

I figured I could use some luck on here regarding my A/C issue. When I turn on my A/C I can hear the compressor fans working fine, but there is no air blowing?? What could be the problem? Fan working but no air blowing?! Mind you this is my second time I have had to use the A/C. Last time I used it was back when I first got the car last Sept.

Thanks and greatly appreciated

hmm, it'd probably be covered under warranty, so you should bring it to your dealer. does the fan blow air if you turn it on without a/c?

No, it doesn't.

I will bring it to the dealers tomorrow. I'm worried the dealer will call void on the warrenty because of modifications... I have a Scosche radio din kit.

Since you moved the heater controlls to the new unit, I bet you didn't get something plugged in all the way or just forgot something. Pull it open and check all of the connections. I know it is a pain in the A$$ but it is the most likely way to resolve the issue.

On second thought you may be able to just drop the lower cover for the knobs and check the plugs for the fan controll. Also make sure to check the heater fan fuses. Check Fuse #5 under the hood and #10 under the dash.

Update:
It was a connection issue. One of those wirings got loose and the power to the fan blower was lost. Took the car to my trusty friend's repair shop. All fixed in less than a day, 40 bucks.

Richmond Honda refused to cover it under warrenty even though I had never tempered with the A/C.
