kind of off topic but i was wondering if anyone knew if any damage could be done to the car if it were left on jack stands for say a day or day and a half? i know all of the fits jack points and i know where to place my jack stands i just want to know if leaving the car on stand for to long could damage anything.

 

As long as the car was still (nobody jumping inside it or on top) you could leave it on the stands indefinitely.

In theory you could affect the suspension bushings as they would be twisted to full droop. But I have had project cars on stands for a month without ill effects. So a day or two would definitely not hurt anything IMO.
