Fit care in the winter
Winter is approaching the windy city and I have no clue how I'm going to take care of the paint on my fit during the freezing months ahead.
One silly idea I had was to cover the whole car in painters tape and just change out the tape once a week or so. It's a bit extreme but EVERYTHING shows up on NHBP so I want to keep it looking fresh.
What do you guys do during the winter?
-"Garage it" is not an option

Well, I'll do the same thing I've done before... anytime I drive in MN...wash it to get the salt off. Wash every 1-2weeks. After winter's over get to waxin it n stuff. Iono, a friend of mine has an 07' and hers held up last year and she doesn't do much of anything as far as caring for it goes.
Mine'll be outside in the snow and freezing temps and whatever else winter throws around...if we get a blizzard ionho what I'll do except hope that nothing bad happens I guess.

Sad to say, after one winter my front end is rather chipped from the winter road covering as salt is not done in Calgary. Instead they sprinkle small stones on the roadways, most every car has a cracked windshield of course. Not mine, but it is coming.....a matter of time.
