Magic seat stucked at flat position

Anyone else has this problem. It happen the first time 4 months ago, 8 months after i bought it. But i was able to lift it back to original position after few times trying. Then it happen again early this week. I wasnt able to lift the right seat(2 seater) back up despite trying like hell.

Anyone else have had this problem?

I havent reported this to the honda dealer yet. I'm planning to do just that later this week.

Sounds like the clip needs adjusting. Haven't had a problem but the dealer should be able to adjust it for you.

It happened to me... the floormat got stuck in the plastic clamp assembly where the foot of the seat locks in.

yeah i thought so too. there must be something that got stuck at the clamp. but i pulled out the floor mat. so there must be something else. just cant reach the clamp to figure what it is. and i still havent found free time to send my car to the honda repair shop. so i'll let it be for the moment. not using the back seat anyways.

It could be the metal clamps at the foot of the seat, where it locks in. There are a couple of screws there at the plastic cover and you can remove the whole thing easily, once of course the seats have been pulled up.

If it's still under warranty, you can always bring it back to the dealer.

Hope you can get it fixed soon! Good luck!
