Clutch Height Adjustment????
Clutch Height Adjustment????
Had a '89 Accord way back and I loved how Honda's back in it's day had a manual clutch height adjustment knob although it was hydralic too. I've always loved how Honda's had low engagement height, but have never driven a Honda made past the year 2000.
Anyone know how this Fit feels with engagement height or if there is an adjustment knob?

Where was the adjustment knob? All I can think of is the cable clutch tensioner located near the transmission (and until 1989, they were cable clutches, not hydraulic). If it's too tight, the release bearing is always being pressed against the pressure plate and causes it to wear quickly.
Yeah that must have been it! Oooh it was not such a good thing to play with then. Fooled around with it reffering from the Haynes Manual, but I guess the OEM setting was awesome.
