Where to Buy Side Mirror Mount Thingamabob?
Some jerk busted the driver's side mirror on my wife's Fit. The part that broke is the 'arm' or 'mount' that holds the actual mirror assembly to the car itself.
I've done some googling and looked through sites like HandA but can't seem to find anything pertaining to mirrors.
Are those only available at the dealer? If so, anyone know if I can order just that part or do I need to buy an entire mirror assembly (or local dealer is closed on weekends and I don't much care for them anyways so would prefer finding something online...)
Otherwise, maybe I'm just using the wrong term to search for them? Any idea what the official name of that part is?

manxman, thanks for the reply!
Ugh...I have to get the whole mirror, eh? Well, depending on the price, this might turn into an epoxy/bondo project instead of purchasing... ;o)
Yea, I really don't like our dealership for obvious reasons, so if I can avoid giving them money, I certainly would prefer that.
I've searched through both the bondi and college hill web sites, but for the life of me, I can't find any Fit Mirrors. Maybe these are only available directly from Honda?

if you go to honda.com then to ownerlink then register your vin then estore then parts you'll find all the micro images that the honda dealers use to order your parts - here is the one for the mirror, this only shows the whole mirror assembly prices but you can get just the parts you need - just get to this point and surf bro!!

Thanks everyone! Turns out Bernardi can get me the arm with the outside assembly. Still more than I need, but at $75-ish, DEFINITELY better than the $220 the dealership wants to charge me for an entire new mirror.
Alas $75 still seems more than I think I want to spend right now, so I'm going to go with an epoxy solution first and see how that holds up. If that doesn't work, Bernardi it is!
(Anyone recommend a specific glue/epoxy for whatever this mirror is made out of? Seems to be some sort of black plastic...)

Well...
I ended up spending $5 on JB-Weld and $10 on a half-decent socket set with an extension arm.
It worked! The JB-Weld was put on a bit thick, so now the mirror has maybe a 1/8" gap between the mirror enclosure and the arm, but hardly noticeble.
I also ended up using the door panel screws to hold the mirror (damn Honda for using 3 screws for each) so that was a bit of a mistake.
And they don't leave ANY play for the wiring, so I had to splice it all back with longer wire which now just sits in the door frame. Hopefully that'll last without getting caught on the window or anything.
Hardly perfect, but for $15 I can't complain. It's definitely 'good enough' for us as we have no intention of ever selling this thing.
