Smell is strongest in the driver foot area. No puddles on ground. Loss of 6mpg so far.

 

Did some deducting while driving a hundred miles today. I think the odor only permeates into the car when using the foot vents, when drawing air from cabin instead of outside. *shrug*

I hope I'm still under warranty. Nearing 36k miles tho! >.<

 

Dealer says it's the fuel tank.

Anyone know where I could purchase one? I can't pay them $657 to do it.

 

Look on Ebay for sellers of other Fit parts or contact a local wrecking yard with your needs. (Most wreckers can contact other local yards if they don't have what you need.)

 

See if they would goodwill it, explain this is wayyyyyy too early for anything to actually occur with the car. If they won't see if there is a factory Honda rep or some type of complaint dept. with Honda to work with you on the matter. Honda customer service 800-999-1009
