**fan is acting weird**

ok...another problem, my fan comes on for 1 second, then shuts off then after 10-15 sec it would come back on for another second.....
the fan i am talking about is the one that is suppost to turn on when u have the climate control knob turn to defrost for the wind shield
why and what should i do ???
i also hear a click sound in a BLACK BOX under the dash, when the fan comes on.

Do you see an increase in temperature? I am asking because that could be the cause or a sensor. And when does this happen? After you shut off the vehicle?

1 sec? doesnt sound right, our a/c systems do cycle on and off continously, but longer then 1 second.
Sounds like it may be tripping the pressure switch. Hook up some gauges and tell us your high and low pressure readings, and ambient air temp & vent temp.
Also look at your sight glass with the a/c running, should look like clear running fluid, with some occasional small bubbles, maybe a little foamy.
But if its a lot of foam or bubbles, thats not good.
