cleaning interior windows

so i have a dog and of course she's going to rub her nose on the inside of the windows, what's the best way to clean the interior windows? is there some magical formula out there that's better than the rest?

just curious what you fit guys use. thanks in advance!

I just use standard glass cleaner but I also add rain-x to the inside windows...helps keep the dog slobber to a minimum...lol

I'm keep it simple. A good MF towel and water does the trick. Makes it super clean.

I also keep it simple.

If my windshields and windows are especially dirty...then I use an amonia free glass cleaner...almost any will do.

Most of the time- simply water.

It's been my experience that chemicals and products proclaiming streak free....lie. I only use a glass cleaner when there is a reason I need something to clean my glass. If you keep your windshield relatively clean on a regular basis...then water and paper towels work pretty good.

At one time or another I've tried just about everything. I keep going back to simply using clean paper towels and water.

I will apply Rain-X to the outside of my windshield. This seems to aid in repelency and actually allow me to maintain a clear, clean windshield using water only.

I've been disappointed overall with products claiming to be specifically windshield or glass cleaners....as almost all of them seem to leave haze, or streaks.

ive also used plexus from time to time on the outside windows, it does a real good job of making the window clear and seriously doesnt haze (unlike rain x which hazes in the beginning) it also gives a little water repellent

thanks guys!

stoner's worked like a charm! couple sprays, couple wipes with a microfiber, and i was done. i haven't seen any streaking or hazing (yet), so i'm pretty satisfied.

you haven't tried Prima Clarity with its glass MF towel. no streaks, safe on tint and LCD's as well.

I know, people have their personal favorite products.

I use Rain-X on my windshield. Honestly it does haze and streak a little, but it seems to fade and it gives me the repelent windshield that is an advantage so I use it anyway.

But for me, it comes down to how dirty IS the glass? Glass is clear and hard. So if you aren't removing significant "dirt"- seems to me water does as well as anything. I only use glass cleaner if for some reason my windshield has become soiled significantly...mud puddles, bird droppings...otherwise, clear is clear and my philosophy has become keep it simple....what you are wiping your windshield with IE: Paper Towels, Newspaper or Micro-Fiber might be more important than what chemical you are applying....

You guys are luring me into trying Stoners again...or maybe that Prima Clarity. Stoners I did use in the past and I was underwhelmed. But maybe I used too much?

I still think the best approach is to spend 3 minutes a weekend using simply water to keep your windshield clean. Preventitive as opposed to reactive.

But if you've got a dog? Maybe cleaning is a bigger immediate and repetitive chore?
