Other Options For Horn Replacement?

I know the 09 Accord is the popular one but I was just wondering if the newer Accords horns are plug and play also? What other horns are plug and play for the Fit? And where can I purchase them? Thank you

Phambam,

Just to let you know, the '08-'11 Accord horn is identical (p/n 38150-TA0-A01). I heard that this horn is supposed to be higher pitched and more assertive sounding then the horn that the Fit comes standard with. This horn is $12 over at hondapartsnow.com. I plan on swapping this bad boy into my '07 in the near future

As for any other Honda horns that work in the Fit, I'll have to do some research on the matter because I'm still a novice when it comes to horn swaps. I'm sure that another Fit Freak will be more than happy to add their .02 cents to this thread

Hella Twin Supertone Horns. Popular with the Subaru crowd, not plug and play, but who cares.

All the horn you'll ever need, a true Italian Air Horn: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...s-install.html

You can listen to one here: STEBEL S.p.A. - horns

I've done the install, quite easy. This poster found a wiring kit that simplifies it.

You could also get a Bosch Euro Twin Horn Part # 08P80-TF0-000, it's a JDM Honda accessory, and should be relatively plug and play (I think all you have to run is a relay), the rest of the connections should be a direct plug in to our OEM connections.

Don't forget to consider this: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...s-install.html

You can hear it here: STEBEL S.p.A. - horns

And buy it here: Amazon.com: Horn, Stebel Compact Nautilus Twin Air: Automotive

I would pick up the wiring kit as well.

I, and others, have installed this horn - first class all the way!!!

I haven't bought it yet, though I'm really close to purchasing it (still debating). It costs about $90 not including the price of shipping from Japan.

I've heard people say it's like the older German cars, I guess it makes sense cause Bosch makes it for Honda, but I couldn't find any soundclip on the net. I'll let you know if I find anything or install it.

The Stebel as mentioned is the other one I'm considering, definitely a loud horn.

The Stebel will mount to the OEM point w/ a bracket. Drilled thin bar stock or corner angle off the shelf. It also has a port to run the s=air intake inside the engine compartment. I ran it in across the inside top of the hood latch brace across front of compartment- hi&dry out of the weather. It is a good detail. You need a relay and pull power off the battery w/ a fused lead. OEM trips relay - battery toots it.

Anything else is child's play... ;-)
