Mobile 1 5000.. it had air bubbles in it while i was pouring.
Anyone experience this? i did a search on it in google but only found people with air bubbles in their oil IN the engine (like on their dipstick), and not while oil is still in the bottle. while you are pouring it out.
I think i was the Mobile 1 Clean 5000 or the Mobile 1 Super 5000, either way... it said 5000 on it and it was a mobile 1, 5-30 weight in the silver and red colors on the sticker. I got it on sale at autozone and it came with a free stp oil filter. so i said what the hell.. and bought it.
Am I ok with this oil? I have never seen an oil with air bubbles in it before... and it was out of those 5 quart jugs.. I been driving like 30 miles or so on the car already.. seems kinda ok..

close the lid on a qt then shake the shit out of it, post back if its got bubbles...
man.. from googling the only related things i can find is leaks or water in oil.. but thats with with the dipstick.. not like before you put the oil in your car.. which is where i saw it.. before i put the oil in the car.
Idk.. perhaps i got a bad batch of Mobile 1 5000 oil..

i think its too late... i been driving on it for 2 days or so now..
it looks kinda common on many car forums but no one really knows the answers.. hopefully my car won't die..
the oil was opened in one ofthose 5+ jugs.. and because our fits only use 3.8 i used about half the jug, and used an outside quart oil bottle to measure, so i measure out 3.8 quarts pretty much exactly when i change my oil.
next time i'll just buy 1 quart bottles.. instead of the 5 jug.. because iam thinking the oil absorbed the moisture and created bubbles in the oil.. hopefully it will dissipate with me driving around.

Damn hippies. They did this! They screwwwed things up so young generations have no idea how do anything basic. In light of this event I'm now going to burn several tires in my back yard and then feed old oil into duck pond
