Getting a dirty interior more presentable.

OK ill admit. I've been bad. I let the interior of my Fit go and I don't remember the last time I cleaned it.

I've been making some positive changes in my personal appearance lately and now my car is defiantly the Achilles heel of any style that I may have.

I'm sure allot of the cleaning products discussed here are to keep a good looking car good. But what specifically would be the best to get a very dirty car back to clean.

Areas that will need special attention are the carpets and the gunk that has accumulated in the storage areas of the console. Good cleaners for the dash and doors would be next.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

My interior looks like hell also.. The passenger seat has had water bottles leak on it but looks like it is stained because of the dust from the ultra dry summer.. I seem to remember a coke being spilled on it as well.. No on second thought I remember it was Heineken.. It should be easier to clean up.... I'll give Mike Perrenoud's recommendation a try since his car looks so great...+
