2012 Honda Fit Replacing Fuses

Just got a new Fit. Getting ready for RV touring and will be towing the Fit. I need to pull the radio fuse. Found the fuse, but cannot find the fuse puller. The manual says the fuse puller is located under the fuse box cover located in the engine compartment. Found the fuse box cover and removed it...no fuse puller. Anyone run into the same issue? Discovered where they hid it?

Couldn't find ours either. Used a small pair of needle nose pliers.

It's white....it is installed as a fuse cover to protect the back-up fuse...look for something like a weird looking fuse

on the GE 09 it is the white square on lower right beside the red #10 fuse. Just squeeze the ends and pull it out. This is the box under the dash not hood.

Black3sr is Correct!

I just ran out there and snapped a couple pics for you.

Pull here. Don't be shy.

The Orange plastic bit over the top left hand corner is just a protector for the back-up fuse. The one for the ECM and Radio. The puller is in the red square with arrow.

Dwayne & Black3sr: Sorry for being slow on the uptake. The step by step pics were exactly what I needed, especially the part about pulling and not being shy about it! :-) Thank you so much! Love this forum, ya'll are great!!! Take care.

Nah! no worries. It's friggin scarry to be pulling on stuff. Jeez...I mean...what happens if I screw it up right? it's all good. Whenever I give advice I always point out the scary bits...Today I removed my front grill for the first time to install an emblem and I thought for sure I had screwed my car up for good...turns out it was alright...We are just new at this stuff. I am on your side.

You wanna make my day? snap a pic of your car and post it!

Dwayne

Damn it!

I don't care what anybody says, you're a good guy. I would have never found it.

I always just used needle nose pliers

To upload pictures:

Create a free account at photobucket.com

Upload your pics from the computer or directly from the camera.

Then in photobucket when you mouse over the uploaded picture you can select the second option which is to copy the link address.

Then in FitFreak in a post select the little yellow square to insert the pictures link there. Just Paste!

To try it all out before you post you can select to preview your post. But if you screw it up you can always edit your post afterwards.
