bumper / headlight gap

2013 Sport

I just scraped underneath the bumper over high curb. When I backed out it pulled the front bumper bit and there is some noticeable gap between headlights and bumper. Maybe 4-5mm. Now, I had this car for about a week and can't tell how close the bumper sat with the headlights. Autobady shop told me all the clips look ok and are not broken and everything looks pretty normal (visual inspection, without taking out the bumper).

Whats your thought on that. Is it even worth fixing it? Maybe I'm bit paranoid

Still learning to drive this low little turd

I think it's fine, when I first got my Fit I thought someone had backed into me while I was parked but then I looked at another Fit in the parking lot which was conveniently parked close to me and it was exactly the same.

The panel fitment on the front could be much better, the gaps are big.

Son in law did that with his Focus, not all clips broke or fell out, bumper was loose, on close inspection, a couple of holes had broken it's edge making for a loose fit, missing plastic rivets in a couple of places. I could see damage by putting head under car and moving bumper, but I would expect experts would be able to tell from a casual inspection and knowing car. This is why I added a length of wire to my emergency kit for travel
