Have Honda Jazz Sport 2005 model auto model that has had a surge idling problem and flashing D for some time. Friend managed to source a code reader and its indicating a fault on the reverse inhibitor solenoid circuit.

I've been advised to clean and check all the contacts to see if this recitifies the problem. The issue I have is, I'm not sure whereabouts I'd locate the electrical connections to clean and check them?

Is anybody able to point me in the right direction with a picture, or a description of what I'm looking for?
