Question Cracked Fog Light Lense

My fog light lenses have both been cracked for going on about a year now. They are collecting water and bugs, but both bulbs still work with no problems!

I have read you can fix this yourself but I would like to hear from someone that made the replacements themselves. I have never done anything like this before but I do not want to spend that kind of money on buying a whole new housing.

I do not know how to remove the lights so I can even change the bulbs! HAHA! If anyone can, please help me... It would be greatly appreciated.

which model yr do you have? ive not done the 09 GE, but ive done my '12 GE and my old 08' GD a while back.

the process is very easy. remove the bezel, then unscrew like 2 screws and the whole fog unit pops out. if i was to fix that using your cracked lens, i would probably clean the front of the lens, apply clearbra (or laminex lens protector), open up the housing, clean up the inside, then put everything back together.

I have an 08. What is GD? haha!! I'm gonna let you in on some info... I'm a chick! But I'm sooo into my car I want to do almost everything myself. I'm far from a mechnic, but I think this would be an easy DIY project for me this weekend.

Where is the bezel located?

I can't use my cracked lense cuz they have holes knocked out of them thanks to the rocks from a truck. But, I take directions very well. I am gonna give it a shot!!
