07 fit blower motor questions

Hello everyone well I think my blower motor is going bad its actually
intermittent right now but sometimes when i turn my fan on nothing works
then I move the fresh air to recirculation control back and forth some what hard the blower comes on and all fan settings work. I remember reading a while back someone saying if you can hear the dreaded helecopter noise coming from the fan its going bad . So one question would be is there a DIY for this I searched but could not find one. What are the part numbers for the parts I need to replace? Is it the blower and the transistors (I dont know if thats right I keep reading transistors or something needs to be replaced with the blower also) or can someone point me in the right direction I did a search and mostly GE8 come up with people saying take it in for warrenty repair. I'm an aircraft mechanic myself so I dont have a problem doing it just need some direction/help

Thanks Brad

double check the filter, make sure nothing in there is hanging down interrupting the fan.

other than that, while you got the glove box open checking the filter, give a quick check to the 3 cords that control all that fan awesomeness.

you could have some stickiness/issues come up just because of age and whatnot (do they wear out?). i completely forget the hot/cold switch when i did my radio install and freaked out that all i could feel was heat and nothing would work.

after a day my brain reminded me "hey dumbass, you never hooked that one back up"

couldn't hurt.

I know this is an old post, but I am having the exact same issue.
I read on another thread that replacing the blower motor is simple, but would appreciate more details from somebody who had done it.

I have changed the cabin filter. Can I access the blower from the same place behind the Glove compartment.
