Honda Fit GD3 Transmission Mount
Honda Fit GD3 Transmission Mount
Hey Guys
I'm in England and i need to replace my gearbox mount.
The rubber has now perished away and the play on the mount is causing the drive shaft to knock when pulling away or accelerating.
I have been still driving on it daily for work and easily covered a couple of thousand miles now, Its fine as long as i pull off super slow!
I need to obviously replace the mount this is not a problem and is a strait forward job, my issue is finding one i went to my local Honda but they want a £136!! iv found an old eBay post in america selling them for only $42.
Part Number : 50805 SAA J81
Can anyone suggest anywhere i can purchase one? needed asap
Any help much appreciated
Thanks
Matt

Just google the part number and then search under the "shopping" subsection. The following is a major site that probably would do international shipping if they don't have a European counterpart: Rakuten.com - TRANSMISSION MOUNTING HONDA JAZZ/FIT GD# 2002-2008 OEM: 50805-SAA-J81 Febest: HM-FITRR
I just recently removed my engine and transmission. The bolts securing the mount and the mount bracket were extremely tight. I ended up just removing the bolt through the mount and removing the engine and transmission with the mount bracket attached. Removing the one bolt required using a penetrating solvent and heat. There wasn't enough room to get an impact wrench onto the bolt without a wobbly/universal, although since your car is right hand drive, you may have more room.

I highly recommend rakuten, and have used it before with tenso doing the freight forwarding. Amayama seems to be the place to go for OEM parts though, from people who used it they have great prices.
Great help guys really appreciated i will put one on order tonight i found one with finest auto parts in Florida for a similar price its just a nightmare because i cant get it shipped as a gift i get stung hard on the import tax!
Palos thanks for the info should be fine my transmission mount has loads of space ill just remove the battery and air filter if its really tight, hopefully i can just hoist the weight off the engine with the crane and remove the mounting and then fit the new one... maybe ill soak those bolts up over night beforehand!
