Brake Fluid Change with 1 Person

Based on the recommendation from 13Fit, I went ahead and changed my brake fluid today. I used a marine oil changer (oil extractor) which made for a very easy job. And by using the extractor, I could do the job myself avoiding the need of a second person. I spent $3 for a rubber tube at Home Depot. And $4.50 per bottle of Honda brake fluid from a local dealer. Bought two, but only used one. The marine oil changer was $60 but I already owned it.

I posted a video of the job on YouTube

Terry, thanks for the video. I was impressed that you did the change not only by yourself, but also one handed!

That sounds backwards. Where did you get the info from?

Picked it up at West Marine. Think it was somewhere around $60. It seemed expensive considering there's not much to it, but I needed it to do oil changes on my boat. Now it has an additional purpose so all the better.

Here's a link to it at West Marine.
