Anyone have this issue? One day my power-steering just stopped working and from what I can tell there where no warning signs of it going bad. Anyone have tip on what/how to check what has failed? I checked fuses and they seems good. I really dont know where to go from there other then replacing the entire unit and I want to try avoid that if I can

 

I've heard of the EPS failing due to moisture or something (?) Not sure about your condition cause you're K-swapped.

I know it can happen for whatever reason but usually a restart fixes it. Dunno if this will help, How to Troubleshoot the EPS (Except HATC Model)
