Rattling Sound From Front Bonnet/Hood Stand

Anyone experience rattling sound from your front bonnet/hood stand? It is really annoying to me. I have adjust the rubber position many times but the sound still there.

When can you hear it? When you're driving or when you're fiddling with your car with the bonnet up and the engine on?

I assume you're talking about the prop rod to hold the hood/bonnet open? The prop rod has a sort of friction clip that it fits into when it's not in use (at least on my GE8 fit and most all other cars I've seen); maybe that clip is broken or you aren't getting it in the right spot. If it's a broken clip, that should be quite simple and inexpensive to replace. The rubber bumpers that screw to adjust up/down are for the bonnet itself, not the prop rod, so it's not surprising that adjusting them didn't solve the rattle.

Yeah. I have the same problem, the clip end (that holds the rod to the car) is broken, but I've found an angle at which it doesn't make any sound. Fiddle around with it.

Today got my grommet hood open (91604-SNA-003) replacement part. Tried to pry it out but no luck. Any suggestion how to pry it out?

Can you get some idea of what holds the grommet in place by looking at the new one? I would generally guess that it has some sort of plastic tabs that spring out once its in the hole, and to get the old one out you need to compress them first (which means getting access to the back side of the support it fits into), but it's not entirely clear from the parts diagrams and I don't want to disassemble my car to find out myself.

Do you have the part no. 90602-S2K-003 "Holder, rod" for the other end of the prop rod? If not, I suspect that would be the main source of rattling—unless it's obvious that the old grommet needs replacement. (That part number is for the USDM Fits, but I don't see any reason it wouldn't also apply to other markets.) This other part definitely snaps in place with a couple of plastic tabs/legs that spring out and hold it in position.

Finally, managed to replace the grommet with a new one. Need to cut it using knife. At first I think maybe I need to remove my left fender but decided to cut the grommet using knife. I tried to pry it out using pry tool and screw driver but i failed. There are several tabs/legs below the grommet. Please refer image below. But I still hear the sound but it is better than before.
