Hoodliner - yes or no?

I came across this car being sold on eBay. I saw the pic of the engine compartment and noticed there is a hoodliner attached to the hood.

My car did not come with a hoodliner. Did yours? Sorry if this is a repost. I searched but didn't come up with anything.

Hmm...so the U.S. models don't come with hood liners?
I don't like the sound of that. I wonder if there's any
oem parts out there that will fit the U.S. models.

I wouldn't say that ALL of the U.S. models don't come with hood liners. The one in the pic is a U.S. model I saw on eBay for sale in California. I just thought it was interesting that it has one and mine doesn't. I was just trying to get a sense of how many came with and how many came without... Mine's an early production - first batch car bought the week they came out. I'm thinking they may have started adding it later on in production...

No hood liner here either. Again early production. Kind of prefer without. My RSX didn't have one and it made it easier to clean.

My 98 prelude did not have a liner, many times you could
see steam coming off the hood when it rains.
I hope my 07 coming in next week has it.

Mine has the liner. From his K & N SRI photos, 4dr4life! also has it.
