Hey, Im trying to track down a AC clutch kit for my 09 Fit but cant find one anywhere online. Anyone wanna point me in the right direction? Thanks. Honda wants an arm and a leg as usual.

 

Hi Mr. Death. Before buying a new one, I ask you: Is there any way to repair the clutch? Maybe some repair workshop with lathe and welding. Perhaps an experienced mechanic repairer can recover the clutch at a lower price than the Honda shop.

 

The bearing is shot and the magnet is toast. The friction surface also looks worn. No shop can fix this mess. Needs replacing.

 

Hi Mr.death. Another less expensive option would be to try the junkyards. Have you considered that possibility? In your area there are junkyards? This clutch is the kind of thing I think that could be purchased in a junkyard.
