Power locks problem

Power locks problem
My 2009 Honda fit has a problem with the power door lock engaging repeatedly as I'm driving. It's constantly locking over and over for the first 5 or 10 minutes of my journey.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Does anyone have any idea what this could be or direct me to some possible causes of this.
Thanks!

It should lock automatically once when you reach about 10mph/16kph. It should not keep locking over and over. Have you tried adjusting the auto lock mode, per page 84 of the USDM manual? I wonder if that might reset the behavior.

Yea that's what I'm thinking. Maybe a loose connection to the door lock switch on the drivers door or the switch is going bad.

This is likely due to the drivers side automatic door lock actuator not functioning. The door isn't locking, so every time you go over the threshold (~10mph) then the car tries to lock all the doors again. If you manually lock it and it stops, then you know for sure this is the problem. Unfortunately, Honda will try to charge you $500 to repair the actuator, and to do it yourself is ~$180. However, I just had a similar problem and ended up fixing a couple of my doors for about $5 each. As a screw you to Honda I made a step by step video on how to do it yourself. Now I haven't actually done it on the driver side door and I believe there is one extra electric connection involved, but it shouldn't be much different if you are feeling adventurous.

Hey I know this discussion was posted years ago, but I need more info on something. I have a 2012 2nd gen Honda Fit sport, and I'm having trouble with one of the door locks. We had at first pulled the fuses, left them out for a while then put them back in (tested them and no fuse was blown). All the doors will lock except occasionally the left passenger side door remain unlocked. Do you think this could be a an actuator problem or motor? Any help would be appreciated!
