Fit spark plug blowouts -- how to start a recall

From reading the threads here, many of us have been inconvenienced by the Fit spark plug issue. Some have had to pay dearly for Honda's mistake.
Outlined below are two ways to take action.
1. File a complaint with the US NHTSA at https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/
A few tips:
Have your VIN ready.
Describe what happened in your own words, kind of like:
Spark plug(s) came out of cylinder head while driving. This damaged the cylinder head and ignition system. Fuel economy suffered and the check engine light came on. I became dizzy and nasueous from exhaust fumes entering the passenger compartment.
Note: unless someone was injured the NHTSA won't do anything!

Their instructions:
When describing what happened with your vehicle, tell us specifically if the vehicle was stationary, in motion, on a city street or a highway, turning, braking, etc. Describe the fault or problem that created the unsafe condition. If you know, state the component part or system that you believe may be the cause of the safety risk. If you are uncertain, simply state UNKNOWN and provide your best assessment of the incident and cause in your description. If you have other information - repair invoices, police accident reports, insurance claim forms, etc. - scan them electronically and upload them along with your complaint. If your complaint is about a recall and you have the recall number available, please provide it. Additionally, if you later obtain information and evidence related to your complaint, please retain it for at least five years, in the event that we contact you for further information.
They ask you about acrash (no), an injury (yes, you got dizzy and nauseous)

2. See classaction.org and fill out similar info to try to get a class action lawsuit going. They may call you up, just answer the questions and say you want to go ahead with it.
