Engine Swap K24

Has anyone done this? Pretty new to cars pretty much only know how to do oil change and replace tire. Whats the overall price for an engine swap when you look at the overall and not just the price of the engine? I'm assuming other parts need to be messed with like the transmission but what else what need to be changed and what would the cost be? Would like to make a nice fit so far have tinted my windows installed a sub and just ordered some rims(rpf1s).

Did you Google?!?

Off the top of my head it will cost a few thousand dollars and not something you want to do if you are just starting to work on cars.

Summer tires, coilovers, wheels, upgrade the suspension bits and enjoy your MPG killing go cart!!

If you want it done right, you'll be spending about 8 to 10 grand still if you are starting off with NOTHING but a running, stock Fit.

The wiring portion is the biggest headache in regards to the swap since you're either making the harness from scratch and using the Fit's PCM to run the body electrical side of things and the donor car's PCM to run the engine (and possibly read some items from the transmission) or finding a swap harness that'll easily go for 1500 USD alone.

Not nearly as cheap as pre-2002 model year Hondas due to how much more complex the Fit's electrical system.
