HFP Muffler fitment.

Does anyone know why the HFP muffler will not fit the AT. Honda lists it for the MT only. Just want to know because I can get a deal on one.

Any AT Sport owners here have the HFP muffler and care to comment on this? I would love to hear a sound clip of how "loud" honda thinks is too loud.

its slightly more noticeable over stock. the dealer i bought my Fit from had it on a car they had for sale (yes it was an AT).

it looks better than the stock one and has a nice low rumble to it. not loud at all (although i have a N1 style exhaust and i dont think its too loud )

How much is the factory sport muffler? Did those that have it order it new or buy it later and install it?

Sorry but I think that muffler is SO ugly at certain angles. I guess you cant get worse than the OEM muffler. :/

AT or MT?

I am looking for myself for a deep tone muffler and was thinking about the one you sound clipped as a possibility. Is your car AT or MT or does it even make a difference.

You should do a drive by, I think it'd be more useful.
