I have installed a Simota Charger into my FIT and here are some pics on how I
installed it.

Stock intake:

now removed from engine bay:

now I removed this from the intake from the stock and put it into the new intake:

heres what it should look like now:

now install the new bracket to hold the new intake:

now install the air filter and DONE!! The end result

hope this helps

I paid around 60 dollars Canadian. I had a bidding war on ebay and won. So it was quite a great deal. It sounds really nice when driving.

I also like the fact that not many people own this type of intake. But I'm always happy to share what I own.

I don't have any numbers of gained hp but I do notice a quicker response on acceleration. I will try to have a video of what it sounds like. But if you don't mind a deep tone on acceleration you'll love this intake.

Just letting everyone know, we see all simota products on our website. So no bidding on ebay hehe

We sell two different styles.

does the simota charger carbon intake suited for 1.5 A/T?

what's the difference in terms of intake tube.. of a m/t from a/t?

I see that the system is just a filter/CF pipe/angle? Also added the crankcase filter. Are there any other pipes/sensors that need readjusting? I have been thinking of making my own CF box, since I have a 3" K&N cone already. Just haven't explored taking out the entire stock system yet.

edit: ah, I see the MAF(?) connection on the angle tube now. Is that it?

there is no MAF, just an IAT sensor which you only need a small rubber gromet to mount into a tube..
