HKS Hi-Power with pix and sound
Oh man does that ever sound sweet!!! I have been dying to see this exhuast mounted up on a Fit. Wicked cool man!
The size is perfect, really nice look to it!
I have some questions for you; is this the one that comes with the resonator? What about a siliencer? Against your stock exhuast, about how much louder is it? Any change in responce?
lol, sorry for all the questions. Just eager to hear some feedback about it. Really nice man, HKS rocks!

lolas for the questions, this is only an axleback no resonator, there was no silencer included and imo there really isn't a need for one. it is significantly louder than the stock setup especially when you're foot is pressed hard on the gas and at hi rpm's, but i noticed that while cruising at low rpm's you only notice a faint rumbling sound, not too loud, not too annoying, just a tiny bit louder than stock. as for response, i do 'feel' some improvements, feels slightly quicker off the line and the throttle response seems quicker. but considering its only an axleback with 5ish hp gains, i didn't expect a vast difference. overall im very satisfied, especially with the sound
hope that helps, and if you have anymore questions feel free to ask its not a problem at all
what kind of LED tails do you have?
nice exhaust btw
nice exhaust btw
where did you buy the exhaust by the way
Ahh sounds better than Greddy Ti-C I think. Is this just a bolt on muffler?
thanks for all the positive comments about the exhaust
are you referring to a silencer? if so, yes there are HKS removable silencers available for purchase that would fit onto the hi-power to reduce the sound level. according to their specs, it would cause on average, a 7dB noise reduction. the only thing is, you would need to buy it seperately since the axleback didn't come with the silencer. but imo it really isn't that loud in comparison with those fart canons you hear 5 blocks away
I just got my HKS exhaust today and installed it during my mid-day work break
. Took me all of 10 minutes to unbolt the stock muffler and attach the new cannon. It's a really nice piece and seems to fit perfectly. It is definitely louder than I was expecting, but I haven't been in a car with an aftermarket exhaust in a while so it may just be that I have to get use to the tone again. I'm sure the wife will notice the sound if the radio is down though.. guess I'll find out tomorrow. As far as performance goes, strangely I do feel like the car is slightly faster up top. Also, I didn't hear any raspyness while at WOT through the whole rpm range. I'll get it on the freeway after work today and check for drone.

yo
I have the same axel back as you from HKS. although i had a complete new pipe under the car and header (custome made). i am VERY pleased with the result i have, the car is much louder in tick over and when pushing it. this is cos of the straight though exhuast. Theres bee a significant increase in power with the HKS reloaded air filter as well.
Here's a links to my Jazz HKS setup.
Putfile - Pics of my stuff
There are a couple of sound clips and a quick vid of me nippin though traffic, the vid nippin though traffic is good because you can hear the sound of the HKS setup much better as it gets pushed
Although i have to admit that the sound of the exhuast sometimes gets over powering, so i have to drive in low RPM most of the time.

That is an incredibly good sounding exhaust. I was thinking Tanabe Concept G, but this is wayyyyyy better!
Thanks for the post. HKS just sold another axle-back.
Love the fact that it's easy, too.
Thanks!
