Quiet Aftermarket Intake?

I was looking to see if any companies make an aftermarket intake that is yet quiet and still makes performance. i know for a fact ARC intakes are quiet, especially around low rpms. all they do is suck air in. i've heard other intakes like aem and injen...they have the aggressive tone to it. btw, do they have the arc intake out for the fit yet? (in the us at least)

try a spoon drop in or some other type of drop in... all other intakes will give you that sucking sound.

Is there a major power gain with a CAI over a free flow filter? But yea, that sucking sound can get annoying after a while.

All intakes are quite unless you hit the gas hard. Mine doesnt make any noise until at least past 4500rpms. I have an Aspec CAI.

quiet under power

Are there any intakes that are quiet even when you're getting on it?

Not really. Think about it. If air is being forced into a 2.5-3" metal tube, you're going to hear something. Mostly, that sucking sound. You could try some Dynamat or something around the intake piping.

Or you could just go ahead embrace the dark side....hehe...
