Easy Exhaust question

So all of my experience is with my Prelude and there aren't any axle backs for the 4th Gen Lude... only Cat-Backs

Just to clear things up... If I get an Axle-back, the only thing I would be missing would be the B-Pipe Correct? So basically, I could upgrade to the full cat-back next year or something...

Yup, all you'll need is a B-Pipe to complete the axle back to a cat back. I went this route; got the Fujitsubo Wagolis Axle Back last summer and got the Spoon B-Pipe a month ago and now it is a full cat-back. I think Megan makes a B-Pipe as well..

modacar sells a full catback system for about 239 Auto Accessories, Performance Car Parts, Import&Domestic @ Modacar Auto Accessories

i have it and it's pretty good bang for buck. if you need a b-pipe, this is a good option. buy it for the b-pipe then sell axle back to someone else or keep it if you want to swap for it.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm trying to balance playing with my daily driver (my fit) Vs tuning my Prelude (94 VTEC). Anyone have any input on the RS*R exhaust? I think it looks and sounds sick... either that or the T1R. Any info?

Spoon B-Pipe FTW!

it'll work with almost any Axle-Back (with the exception of the Skunk2, which needs to be used with the rest of the Skunk2 Exhaust sections).

Spoon B-Pipe uses OEM flanges and springs bolts very nice

Also the Fujitsubo Power Getter B-Pipe only works as a complete unit with the Power Getter Axle Back - no other Axle backs work with it AFAIK.

If you are going with an Axle Back, definitely spend the extra money for the Spoon B-Pipe. It fits pretty much any axle back and comes with everything you need and fits like a glove...

For about half the price of the Spoon the Megan B-pipe fits most axle-backs well. I was impressed with the welds, finish and flanges on mine. Easy install other than the oem cat bolts. You better have a breaker bar!

You talking about the dual tipped one? I was considering it but I noticed the muffler is a bottle neck and looks pretty ugly. (muffler, not the tips) Not to mention it cost like 100000 dollars.

Id suggest the 621 made by RS*R. Now thats nice!
