Full Exhaust...
In order for a Forced induction kit to be legal in the state of california the engine management unit must not be tunable. An example of this is the old Greddy turbo kits, they all came with a blue box. The blue box had no adjustments on the outside of it and could not be interfaced with a lap top. As of recently Greddy switched to the Emanage in place of the blue box. Although the blue box and the Emanage have the same programming within them, the turbo kits are no longer street legal. Just a heads up for an California customers.
I am still asking around here. I live in Ontario,Canada. The cops around here are very lenient which is good...as long as your not screwing around. But AJR is based out of B.C. so I'm assuming when they come out with their Type-E kit it will pass most if not all canadian emissions as well as some U.S.(I would assume) But I think for the power aspect of the kits, anyone in their right mind would Opt for either the type-S or Type-R kits and make friends with the guy that does the testing in 3 years.!!.
