Yes, as most of you know "you get what you pay for in this industry". Our quality is hands down better than anything else on the market today. Plus with our group buy pricing we will be selling exhaust starting below $200

you do get what you pay for.....but MOST companies deff take advantage of that...look at spool and mugen, NO BETTER than tanabe, RSR, or anything else....but cost almost double.

and...to be 100% honest, i've YET to see an ebay exhaust come in with any LESS quality welds and material than any of the big names.

but, if you can be below the $200 price point wiht a catback....you're gonna sell a TON!

Ya, we are working on doing our base axle back exhaust well below $200 and our catback exhaust less than $300.

Most ebay exhaust systems have their flaws. Wether it is fitment, performance, sound, build quality or something.

if you guys have a muffler that looks like J's racing ones, then I'm game!

I really like the way the stock one is, not flashy, you can hardly see it, but It's just too quiet...

so ya, under 300 for catback, and if the quality is good, then it's definitely a good deal!

Did I miss something? I didn't see any JDM claims--seem pretty 'straight up' to me. Seems like they are trying to provide a good quality product without breaking the bank. I see the market as flooded with $600+ products that I would never buy on principle alone.

I second the request for quiet--the magnaflow oval looks good. The days of the 'swarm of bees' droning exhaust are over!

(OK, maybe not for the under 20 set)

Hi i'm from 8thcivic.com and i just wanted to pop my head in the fit forums about about some info about turbo-mafia.com

You can get some good info here:
Turbo-Mafia Exhaust! *merged* - 8th Generation Honda Civic Forum

Here too:
ScionLife View topic - Turbo Mafia Exhaust questions

And Here:
Turbo-Mafia - Vendor Reviews - NASIOC

To sum it up we have about a dozen members that purchased the exhausts a couple of months ago and havn't received them or have received the wrong parts and/or missing parts.

Basically they claim that their test vehicle was a standard civic (R18) and not an Si but posing as an Si so they have to start the R&D all over again. They say they will refund peoples money but never do.
They have no phone # listed so our members couldn't even call them so they left messages on their website that they dont seem to answer. The address listed on the shipping package actually goes to some old ladies house in California that has no clue whats goin on.

A few of the members have actually talked to their banks and CC companies and reported this so they can get their money back.

Some of our members noticed these too:

I'm also from 8thcivic, and I wanted to back up tasty's warning. do NOT buy from turbo mafia. They are trying to scam you.
There is no phone number to contact them at. this is a very bad sign.
they have no address you can contact them at. also a bad sign.
they will either ONLY contact you, or you will be able to contact them through email, and nothing more. does this sound like a reputable company to you?
Shipping labels sent to 8thcivic members listed an address that was in a DIFFERENT city than turbo mafia's claimed location.

Essentially, this company is selling you a frankenstein exhaust system for more than the sum of the parts, IF you get an exhaust system at all.

Even if you were to get an exhaust, just keep in mind you would be getting it from a nigh-impossible to contact company that practices bad business ethics.

think twice before ordering from turbo mafia.
