Is that 130 / 160 to the wheels or crank? Seems like alot of money for no power IMAO.

when i was at sema the rep stated the following:

1. the price range is $3500
2. the F-con S is locked and can not be reprogrammed
3. yes there is no injectors included and is rated 30% increase at the crank, not wheels due to the CARB issue
4. boost is set at .4 bar
5. expect it to be released late Nov, early Dec.

1. price is not for sure. 3500-4000 is expected
2. In my instruction manual it sayd that it can be tuned if you have the program (which i do) Garrett from hks told me this as well.
3. no injectors are included but you can upgrade with the new boost level and bigger injectors.
4. bar= 14.5~14.7 do it is 5.8-5.88 lbs
5. hks has had the turbo kit for a while. I think about 6 months to 1 year from release date.

These are the items i know from talking with HKS. If i am wrong then i am wrong. but as far as i know i think they are correct.

Thanks
BJ

No it is not required to remove the engine cover. The only reason i removed mine is because i am getting a custom carbon fiber one made.

i dont know if the japanese one must be removed. but if you say so i believe you.

car will be done later today...just need to cross the t's and dot the i's.

tell me about it. it's been over a year since the came out and the list of available mods are so little. no cams, pistons nor rods available besides custom built. the nissan versa gets more love.

me coming from the industry and having cars with at least double the stock HP I'm not happy with the performance the fit comes with stock. and this being me first AT car doesn't help either.

I think the versa has alot less parts out for the honda fit. I work in a auto performance shop and have no inquiries whatsoever for the nissan versa.

as far as coming from the industry i dont think you purchased the honda fit to be your drag car. The way i see it is that its a sport looking wagon that has alot of cool parts out for it. Honestly i can care less if it is fast as long as it looks cool, gets decent gas mileage, and blows off. I guess you can say that my ultimate goal is to be in a magazine then move on. I purchased the car in april of this year and there not much more things i can buy for the car.

and how some guy said that its took much money for the little hp increase ...well if i wanted to drive around a fast car i would drive around my 600hp 240sx.

Yes, i was exaggerating.

I only get 28 mpg, so i'm giving up on trying to save every drop of gas, so i'm looking to getting a turbo kit. I also like turbo kits over SC because it'll muffle the exhaust down a bit too.

So you can get pictures of the Greddy and the HKS kit? let us know what you think is better, for power, and for looks, and which will allow the fogs.

well, me being in the industry is usually in the manufactures side, and i have built 3 cars already that have been featured or published. It's only fun when you like the attention, but when you get older, you'll like the piece and quite.

I have the kit installed in Aug and everything works fine but the intercooler is like half smaller than the one you have! In addition, HKS website to use this injector => 16450-PNA-003 (Honda original parts it cost only approx. US$60 per each)

I have put the EVC to boost to 60 kpa and I think that we may need to change the piston & piston rod if we would like to tune this at high kpa than 60 (such order it from JE)

I was looking for the program(software) & the tune cable. Can I get 1 from you?
