How much does this decrease engine rotation?

How long did it take for the engine mounts to compress fully before vs now?

Does this dampen both compression and extension?

Why this vs 25$ motor mounts, other than the fact that you can see a brand name on it when you open the hood?

$25 motor mounts? the only motor mounts i've seen cost a lot more than that and are for race use only... and if you think motor mounts is an easy install, more power to ya. i sure wouldn't trust myself with that lol... but this is an easy install, with noticable improvements. The other questions you'd have to ask ingalls. or maybe Hocker knows?

Ive installed motor mounts on my other car and although it isn't the hardest thing in the world, it takes more thought and planning which equates to a much longer install especially if you are doing it for the first time even with the help of a FSM.

This engine damper and the Spoon version are plug and play basically and require no real "work" to put one on. Anyone who knows how to follow instructions can easily put one on in less then an hour not to mention this wont make your whole car vibrate like a set of poly mounts would so its your choice.

I did em in my GTI and they were like 20$, took about 45 mins to do the first time and got rid of all the wheel hop, weird clunks, etc. I did em on my friend's car and it took me about 20 minutes after we got the front of the car on stands. I've never seen any for the Fit, but I don't see why you couldn't just get urethane or whatever to replace the rubber. I'm not sure why someone would want solid mounts on a sub-100hp econobox, but people do weird things sometimes.

It doesn't seem to me like this ETD would do anything besides slow the motor's rotation, which seems to be what you're trying to avoid. For that matter why not just two Rose joints with a rod in the middle. It seems like that would be more of what you're after. That's why I'm looking for real data. Cause I bet if you paid 100$ more for the same thing you'd feel an even bigger difference over stock .

In one of my previous cars, a Sentra Spec-V, I first installed the urethane inserts that fill the void in the motor mounts. Those kept falling out no matter what I tried. I then installed Place Racing motor mounts and that completely solved the motor rotation problem, but was at the expense of increased interior noise and vibration.

Torque limiters are not as effective as a more solid motor mount, but don't usually increase the noise and vibration as much. Basically, they are a good compromise for a street car.

Another one of my cars has solid billet aluminum motor mounts...not advisable for street use.

Hey Rex I sent you a pm, but I was wanting to know if you could help me figure out why I can't get the helm joints to line up with the brackets. The instructions say the distance between the bracket holes should measure 7", mine measure 8" . I contacted Ingalls and they are stumped, and said they would get back to me. I installed the engine and chasis bracket correctly there is no shaft play between the two. I can extend the chasis helm joint but it says it should not exceed more than 6 threads. Could it be possible they sent me the wrong damper? Hey Smirff did you buy one already? Maybe we can meet up and if you have yours installed I'd like to take a look at it. Mine has been a pain since day 1.
