Interesting, I don't really know what to think of it... i'd have to actually see it on a Fit before passing judgment. Anybody running this piece or any brave souls or thick wallets willing to invest $95.00? At that price, I'm already assuming it's a POS but the pictured product seems fairly built and I know a handfull of ebay axle-back buyers that are happy with their purchase. It's not j's or spoon or mugen or t1r or.... well, you get the idea, but the price is affordable

Not a great picture, but I can still see poor welds. They don't appear to have penetrated the metal. I'd say pass.

i wouldnt waste your money. if your going to do that, you might as well go to a custom muffler shop. buy a magnaflow 4x9 muffler race for like 70 bucks.a nd get them to weld it on for 30. so cheap, and it does the same thing.

 

The only good thing about it is that its stainless. Doesnt look too bad, its not JDM at all though.

Wondering if the tip comes straight out? It would look better if it was spun to the right a little.

 

It looks like it would be LOUD with a mid pipe.....and it looks abit cheesy. Dunno maybe it is just me..lol.

Hahaah! So true. If its titled "JDM TURBO NOS VTEC" its probably not real; at all.

 

If the welds come apart and the muffler falls off, it won't be quiet anymore

 

The welds don't look that bad considering it is stainless. JDM is a lie. If you chop it off at the last weld it might look 10x better.

 

Wonder what the muffler is packed with? That steel wool material or paper.
Paper packed mufflers are the ones that sound like pure ass.

LoL, great feedback! when I found the ad the first thing that came to mind was "I bet it sounds like an autozone product." I just thought that someone on the boards might be running this piece.

question, I would like to keep my stock muffler intact (flange and all). would a muffler shop be able to make me a flange or should I have a donor ready?

If you want it in tact, take it off at the b-pipe and bring in a donor flange.
