alittle bit more noise anyone?

ok heres the deal, i have the HFP muffler and i just put on a HPS CAI. i love the intake sound under the hood but i want alittle bit more exaust. what should i do? i was looking into the mid pipes but there all way pricey. i would like the exaust to sound equal to what the intake sounds, not too loud but just enough. on my old car i had a weld on muffler and cut off the resonator. i liked how it sounded but i wouldnt like to just cut off the resonator on a new car, i like stuff that bolts on, that you can change back to stock if i want to. is anyone have any ideas that could really help me out? i also dont want to get a new muffler, i love that thing, i just want it to sound like it looks. o and would taking the resonator off void my warrenty? thats the other reason why i dont want to do it either, i dont want to just weld on something that i cant just change back later.

E-Cutout to Straight pipe would do the trick.

google e cutout to know what i am talking about.

If you add one of these to your b-pipe and add a short turn-down tip you can completely bypass your muffler with a flip of a switch.....for a price of $230 (that's the downfall)

In that case finding a muffler shop that does mandrel bending is your best bet. Have one custom made for your car would be the cheapest route. just find a flange to bring with to the shop.

ok i found a guy that could cut out the resonator for free and weld it up for me. now the question is, will this make it too loud with my muffler? will it void my warrenty, and would it affect my performance? if its too loud ill just weld the old one back on but i think that this would be the best for sound. i mean what is the resonator for anyways? just for sound? what about if i welded on a cherry bomb in its place or something like that? please help.

man an E cut out is basically just you flip the switch and it just dumps it out of your exhaust pipes. normally people put it before the cat.(on the down pipe). so when they want to race, itll open it up and you just just get basically open header. i want to get it for when i boost, that way itll flow so much better. but if you just want sound and i guess top end, then itll work too.

resonators help reduce the raspy sound.
you dont want to sound like an ugly fart can.....thats no bueno.
i would highly suggest having one or at least keeping one on your car.
i mean you dont even need a muffler. just basically weld up a 15-20" glass pack(which are cherry bombs) and run a straight pipe, and that would be just fine.

it wont even be loud at all. basically your running your car without a muffler. if you get a custom muffler shop to do a 2 1/4 pipes you should be set.

yeah bigger b-pipe will increase the sound.

just get a muffler shop to weld you up one. no more then 150, from the cat to your muffler. and since you want more noise.....go with a 10" resonator/glasspack. that way it wont take away from the noise to much.

most places have crush bent pipes so go 2 1/4 so itll even out to be about 50mm.

or you can push it a little bigger to 2 1/2 so itll even out to be 60mm piping.

bigger b pipe= more noise.
