Flowmaster DBX on GE8

Does anyone have any experience with flowmasters on a Fit? Im looking for a nice universal muffler beacuse I dont feel like shelling out $500 on a part thats not gonna net me more than a hp or two. I just want a nice tone out of my exhaust without having to run a straight pipe.

Sorry no sound clips, but i can say this much, when you want it loud, its loud, and when you want it quiet its pretty quiet too, the muffler i bought was a 2.5" diameter in and a 3" out, what the guy did for me was use the stock fit diameter which should be 1.75" so he just expanded the pipping to fit the 2.5" muffler

I hate not knowing what its gonna sound like though. If I like the sound it could save me money over the tanabe exhaust I was looking at but if I dont like it its gonna end up costing about the same to find one I like.

You could just take your muffler off and drive around for a couple days. Doesn't cost anything and should give you an idea of what it'll sound like.

I have the Flowmaster (HushPower) DBX on my honda fit

3" from header(3" collector) all the way back to just the DBX muffler. nothing else. just 3" burns stainless steel tubing with a hushpower dbx muffler.
